Persistent Education Journal (JPP) has a strict plagiarism policy to ensure the integrity and scholarly quality of the articles published. We are committed to promoting original research and avoiding any form of plagiarism in all journal publications.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is defined as the act of copying or taking someone else's work (including text, data, ideas, or research findings) without proper attribution or permission from the original creator. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text or parts of another article without proper citation or reference.
  • Using ideas, data, or findings from another source without proper attribution.
  • Using previously published work by the author without acknowledging that it is a previously published work (self-plagiarism).

Plagiarism Detection Procedure

All articles submitted for publication in Persistent Education Journal (JPP) will undergo plagiarism checking using recognized plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or similar tools. Articles found to contain high levels of plagiarism will be rejected and will not proceed further in the publication process.

Action Against Plagiarism

If an article is found to contain plagiarism, the following actions will be taken:

  • The article will be rejected and returned to the author for revision.
  • The author will be given the opportunity to correct and revise the article by including appropriate references.
  • If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article will be retracted from the journal, and a public notice of the retraction will be issued.
  • Authors involved in plagiarism may be banned from submitting articles to Persistent Education Journal (JPP) in the future.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that the articles they submit are original and free from plagiarism. Authors are also expected to properly cite sources and provide proper attribution for the work of others used in their articles.

Dispute Resolution

If there is a dispute regarding allegations of plagiarism, the editorial team of Persistent Education Journal will thoroughly investigate the matter and make a decision based on the available evidence, with the aim of maintaining ethical standards and academic integrity.
